We are busy finishing a documentary film about modern life in Kyiv. I am a film maker that has been living in Kyiv for a very long time. We started this film project in 2018 and it is soon to be complete. We would like to please ask you for permission to use some small parts of your video (some visuals - just a few seconds) in the documentary film. The Transit Cost, And , what Fee And Or Charge which was Paid to bring The 67 S Catamaran through The Panama Canal ? 3. Which Island in The Bahama's did you do your Urgent Diesel Top Up? Which Nation's Territory Governs That Refuel island in The Bahama's ? If , The Refuel Island is Not an American Island, under what Reasoning did The DEA have Search + Questioning over your Catamaran ? If the Refuel station was not an American Territory, then did you Question The DEA on Their Jurisdiction. 4. While i was Watching your Video of the "facility" for Refueling, i was thinking perhaps it was Not the Safest "facility" to get Fuel, without Contamination in the "fuel" such as might damage Expensive Engines with debris and or Sea Water in the "fuel" ! Did you request to Check the "fuel" before mixing it into your 67 S Catamaran Existing Diesel Fuel Tanks ? 5. Did you Discover Mosquito's a Problem during your Catamaran Passage through The Panama Canal ? As i Observed The Second Pilot was Cleverly Wearing his Socks Over his Trousers Leg's to Prevent Mosquito Bites. Yes , I Am Asking the above Question's for Several Reasons: But Primarily , I May Travel a Generally identical route in Future, And , I would like to Know The Factual Event's. Incidentally, whereas i have no Problem's with Reasonable Procedure's, even in Searches. As a Lawyer, i found it Bizarre That any Yacht Sailing from your Destination in The Direction Of Panama would be The Subject Of such a Search. What did The DEA give as Their Reasons for Their Bizarre Search? Legally , if Your Catamaran was Not in The Jurisdiction Of The DEA, Then The Search at Best would be inappropriate , which is a Polite Way Of saying it Should Be Reasonably + Politely Challenged. The Reasoning is That Otherwise Inappropriate Searches would Become The Norm! As i previously state above , i have no Problem with Lawful Searches. But , as A Lawyer, it is My Duty to Question inappropriate Searches + Over Stepping by any who Act Outside Their Authority. But, just for The Record, I would Cooperate with Lawful Requests. Your Catamaran, on its Route, did not appear to Justify A Search , unless you forgot to Advise The Island Port Authority That You Were Arriving with Need For Urgent Refueling And Or Your Captain forgot to Raise The Two Necessary Flags viz. Yellow + Courtesy Flag, Did You ? Obviously, Your Answer's May Help Your Own Crew, Other Yacht's Lawfully Transiting The Panama Canal , + indeed Myself, if I were to Travel in That Direction. Obviously, One Of The Reasons I Wish to Clarify The Jurisdiction, Nation, Name, And , Refueling "Urgent" "refueling", is That I would Not Wish to find the "urgent" "refueling" "facility" in The Unsafe Way That You Were Forced to Endure it, where you were in Need Of Urgent Refueling. I Am Pretty Sure Every Crew Member Most Especially The Captain would have Wondered was it SAFE?!! Clearly No Captain Or Crew preparing to Cross to a Island in The Middle Of The Pacific, would want to ENDANGER Their 67 S Catamaran And Or its Engine's And Or The Auxiliary Generator , with Dodgy Diesel from a somewhat at best may be called a ramshackle "refuelling" "facility"! The Quotation Mark's above are utilized to Emphasize the Dodgy series of Danger's, unwanted, which You Experienced on The route to The Panama Canal. Just yesterday a Gas Station in European Nation instead of providing as requested Diesel to Diesel Vehicle's, placed Petrol into Diesel vehicles. How Petrol was put into the Gas station Diesel Storage Tanks is Astonishing + Bizarre. But , as a result the Diesel Pumps placed Petrol into Over Sixty Diesel Vehicle Engine's. Which the Vehicle Driver's did not discover until their Engine's Stopped working properly and or at all. Those vehicle Driver's will have the Vehicle's Repaired Or Replaced depending on the Damage to each Vehicle. Luckily for the Vehicle Owner's, That the Gas station has Confirmed That the Original Problem was at the Refilling Of the Gas station Diesel Tanks were Refilled with Petrol, and not Diesel. Therefore the Vehicle's will be Fixed and or Replaced. However, with A 67 S Catamaran , Crossing The Pacific to an island, The Captain + Crew should Be Aware + Protect Your Two Catamaran Engine's, The Generator , And , Any OTHER Engine which Dodgy "urgent" "refilled" "fuel" May be Required to Actually Fuel. Your Journey is Perhap's Already Completed ?!! But, in the off chance that You are still on your Journey , And Or, Any Other Catamaran, Yacht , Sail Cruiser is on such a Long Voyage , THEN PLEASE Check Your Refuelling Tanks for Debris , And Or , Sea Water , And Or, Contamination in Fuel. Remember, Generally while at Rest Diesel will Float on Water , THEREFORE , it would be Possible to Remove Water to a Certain Degree Or Point by Carefully Syphoning the Water from the Bottom Of A Water Contaminated Diesel Fuel Tank. The Safety Apparatus on Some Modern Engines, Not ALL, May Reduce And Or, Eliminate some Contamination. But, probably NOT ALL CONTAMINATION IN FUEL, BUT THIS APPARATUS MAY CLOG With Debris. If , which is unlikely since you said you needed fuel, in the unlikely event you transferred ALL ORIGINAL CLEAN FUEL TO ONE FUEL TANK, BEFORE Taking OnBoard Questionable Quality "fuel", then Obviously, You Should SAFEGUARD AT LEAST YOUR BEST ENGINE BY UTILIZING ONLY THE SAFE FUEL ON ONE ENGINE. Indeed, on reaching a Safe New Refueling Station, THERE May be Good Reason to Off load the Dodgy "urgent" fuel, And , Then Do A Thorough Clean Of The Catamaran Fuel Tanks which Received the "urgent" but Dodgy Fuel. That would be Best from Safety Point fir ALL Captain, Crew, Cook + Catamaran ! Yes, a Typical Lawyer, trying to Think Ahead in ORDER to Protect + Ensure Safety Of Captain, Crew, Cook + Catamaran !
